More information needed! Better descriptive titles required.

What is hot?
What is your compression?
What is all the crap in the last line about?

he wants to know if his gaskets has anything to do w/ his bike running hot.

the gaskets have to do w/ your compression. do a compression test and post what it reads.

Check compression first. Probably on the high side. The jets are not too small.

take it easy on him guys. he's probably just upset that he can't figure out why his bike is getting hot and wants some help.
he's new here and maybe he just didn't know how to ask for help.

If you let him get away with posting gibberish, then they continue posting gibberish making it a pain to help them. They need to think before they post and give all the specs and what it is doing with numbers if available. But they also need to learn to do a d*** compression test if they have a problem. It is the first and foremost thing a good mechanic does.

i agree w/ you bear. they shouldn't post gibberish. and a compression test is a must. but if we say stuff to harsh people might be afraid to post on here.

BUT specs are a must and gebberish is not needed.

Greetings:

How hot is Hot? Temp gauge, or at least a look at the spark plug, is a must.
Has it seized?

142 in a 28mm does sound small to me. 50:1 may work with some oils, but 32 seems to be the consensus, especially with a fresh top endzm

if the engine is running then the jetting is close, the gear ratio defines the temp= slower the rpms the cooler the engine temp :surprise:

142 wayy too big try smaller main like a 135. Running real rich can make your bike run hot too. Put the needle clip in the middle and work up or down from there
