You can use either coil.

Match up the wires and splice them for the stator.

What about the motor mount and shock mount? In going to do a swap into a spree im getting this weekend

Motor mount and shock mount need to be changed. They are not plug and play/bolt ons.

Havent heard from richdavidson34 but he custom fabs an awesome shock mount that is super easy to install. He is supposed to be working on a batch right now. I find it is easier to cut the motor mount with a sawzall :D

Use a s mount. Cut 99mm the left side only from a right side.

Don't cut the right side!!

Left is left need to cut use a hacksaw will cut nicely take your time.....

Come out nice and straight!

Been done multiple times. Look at the really old threads. Some of the pics are gone because the author is no longer active here but the words are all there.

i have seen lots of ways of doing it ..
that because of the tools thay have and there skill thay have ..
but it never hurts to see you do it so please post photo and keep us up on your swoop..
we use ImageShack to post photo and ill bet there is a fue people reading alone who are think of doing this
and thay wood like to see it as well ..

What is a "s" mount. Seems like everyone has different ways of doing it..
S mount is from 94-01 af16.

i wood put the fram and the hole motor in place on the bench and build from there ..the expipe may hit the fram so watch out for that ..

I have a motor mount i was working on for a swap that I dont need anymore if you want it just pay the shipping. its a spree mount that i cut a piece that needs to be welded that attaches to the motor. Theoretically it would allow you to keep the centerstand.

So you weld the bracket to the frame and then bolt the engine to the bracket?
