It sounds like it is still running lean. Pull the plug and describe the color and condition. Pics are even better. :wink:

Replace your fuel lines and clean the inlet to the needle and seat. Today's fuel destroys the inside of the old fuel lines and bits and pieces flake off.

So i tore apart the carb and cleaned it well. I also removed the main jet and it looks like it is a 65? I took the scooter for a ride afterwards and it still was bogging down... adjustments? different jet? What do I have to do to get this thing running the way it should? Thanks for your help guys

From doing a little more research, it looks like my plug color means that it is too rich, meaning the carb needs adjusted... can someone instruct me on what exactly i need to adjust? Also if the jet is the one that is supposed to be in there (65) and the plug is correct (Bpr6hsa). thanks

Depends on whether you did a proper plug chop and at what throttle setting you did the plug chop.

Did you do an actual plug chop or just ride the scooter and then bring it to a stop, letting it idle, then shut off the motor.

Plug chop info here;

I did not do a plug chop. Could i do this with the scooter on its rear stand or is it best to be moving?

If you want bogus info, then do it on the center stand.

ok, so i wasnt able to do a full "plug chop" but i was able to put a brand new bpr6hsa spark plug in the spree and ride it around the block a few times... the scooter acted up after about 2 minutes and stalled out on me. I pulled the plug and it is whitish on the top. Here is a link to a picture for you to look at. Next step to solving this problem? I really appreciate the help
