boost port windows in pistons?

boost port windows in pistons?
I have noticed the boost port windows in the dio bbk pistons.Is there any gains to be had in adding some of these to a piston that does not have them. IE the spree piston or the variated AF05E? Stock not bbk

Only if the kit was designed to have one. That's why some bbk don't have them and some do.
