Engines: [Ed. SB Fits NQ?]
Hello I was wondering if a 88' elite ES engine will work in a 85 spree.

No. Some have reported having to keep the spree exhaust for clearance reasons but I have never had to. You can also swap your ES shock for a little more lift.lovemyelite50 wrote:Will I half to change the carb, or clutch?

Are the bolt patterns the same for mounting the engine to the frame?

Can I put the carb off the spree on to the elite ES ENGINE that I am putting in the spree? The carbs look similar.

Yes ......and no
The oil injection would have to be routed differently or the spree intake would need to be used also.
Why would you want to use the spree carb anyway?
