low speed stumble...

in addition to my setup below... i'm running a 115 main.. and 38 pilot with needle set in middle clip... any suggestions? my main too big? o'yea and i'm oil injected.. so no premix.. that's why the main is small.. but does the idle seem big?

up the pilot to a 40 but you might have to drop the main to a 112. if the 1/4-3/4 throttle feels sluggish or the carb burbbles alot then move the needle clip 1 up on the needle. where is the air fuel screw at?

it's on the side facing out above the bowl.. it seem to run great until i removed the main & atomizer, when i did there's another brass piece that fell out.. i assume that the needle rides in this piece.. i'm not sure witch way it's supposed to go but it has a collar with a short side, and long side.. i installed it with the longer side facing up and it sits about a 1/16 inch high in the main chamber area ..i'm not a carb guy by any means... i did have a 4o main in there and changed it out to a 38.. witch improved the stumble somewhat.. but i'm not sure if i have gotten that piece upside down?

i believe that part is called a needle jet.. ( so i'm not sure witch way it's supposed to go? short side up? or long side up?)

what I ment on the air fuel screw is how many turns out is it at? not location. im not at home so i cant see the part and the difference in length for that needle jet. but I believe the needle jet the side that should be in the venturi it is beveled inwards where the needle goes in.

Come to think of it I added a cap full of oil in the tank for good luck! Maybe that caused it?

Turns out the needle clip was about ready to fall off.. Needless to say problem and stumble is gone!
