Re: '01 Elite 50 SR shocks front & rear
CNIDawg I'm glad that you asked this, I'm on a similar quest to upgrade my shocks
both front and rear of my moped too and am running into the same problems.
I was thinking of upgrading my front end to the disc brakes but am stuck since I am on a very tight budget.
I'll get the front disc upgrade later. In the meantime I was looking for an intermediate solution for the front and am having a bit of a time trying to find upgrades for those particular shocks. Hopefully we'll both find workable solutions.

CY50 is a jog and I would avoid that shock. I have two sitting on my shelf because I replaced them. The Zuma is a good option for the rear (bugeye MODEL) I've personally had over 500 pounds on it and not bottom out on a lazy Sunday cruise.Downsouthdio wrote:Zuma cy50 and cw50 shocks are better than the stick sr shick and work good..
