honda spree upgrades.
Hi everyone, saw this site and couldn't wait to make an acount to get some good info on a build. I want to make a honda spree go 40+, while keeping the reliability of the moped and good gas milage. Would you suggest a motor swap, or heavy upgrades to the stock motor on the spree? Also what would be the total cost of these upgrades? Thanks

Re: honda spree upgrades.
ether way will get you 40+ but a swop to a dio motor is the best way to go.. you say 40+ today and later you will want more speed .. so you mite as well start out right....

You can't have both. You can either go fast or have fuel economy, take your pick.

It's not a quick bolt in upgrade though.

Re: honda spree upgrades.
Yea and I don't want to go that fast or mod it to heavily... Low 40's would be great. It's how fast I get there is my real concern!! What do you think that'll cost me? With the dio?
Re: honda spree upgrades.
With a Spree the acceleration is always gonna be slow at best. No variator guarantees that.
