Ah the bad luck on the speedo. I failed to mention the spree has the se50/af05 engine on it.

Do you know how to fit af16 gears into a af05 ?

Do you have all the right pieces?

If you have the speedo, head stock and the handlebars from the 87 elite, you could make it fit the spree.

Well, today I the did rough assembly of the top end of my engine to see how much I have to shim the jug up. When I installed the piston onto the connecting rod, a problem I had overlooked surfaced. The piston skirts didn't clear the mini-stroker crank  A little surgery and the engine is back on track. The clearances are tight, but I'm pretty sure the skirting job will prove a success. Pictures of the mayhem will soon come. The build has been dubbed "Lucky 7's", as it's 77cc's with 7 cooling fins (as opposed to the Polini's 6). The hope is it'll do 77mph

Well I know I can go 65 mph

But 77 mph is gonna require those 6.3:1 gears, or more revs than your crank can handle, or your pipe will allow.

Yeah, I know I've got to gear it up a tad to achieve 77. 65 is pretty fun for now. The 6:3 gears will come after the clutch and zx trans. I've got a plan.
