Like the fender style, and 66SIX oozes style... :hi:
That reflector is,...um,..safe...
If it aint needed to run, roll, or stop...it aint on my Gyro. I sure miss riding one on the street.
Must assert myself and patch together an '86 for moped rides...those hipsters like it when I show up on a Gyro.

I was in a bike shop and noticed a RED LIGHT CHANGER for around $ 20.00 so I took a look at it , it was just a magnet in a fancy box .
So I thought make my own and with the money I save I could go to the bar and get messed up then not worry about getting stopped at a red light .
I just made it tonight then went to the bar and sure enough the light did change was it coincidence ?
I don't know ?
lol. It's legal for bikes to go through red lights here as long as it's clear.

welp. im setting out on my endeavor to make a new carb cover for my gyro. i want to make it out of steel and paint it with chrome spray paint. should be interesting to see how it ends up. im taking most of my design from 66six's carb cover that he made a while ago.

The idle air mixture screw is lower screw and is set at 2 1/4 turns out.
The upper screw is throttle stop...adjust to 1,800rpm (+ or - 100)
The service manual shows this info on page 4-11..available in Wikispreedia

That is my thought. No need for the green work coat, just this helmet.

I just realized that is a modular helmet. The CL Max has seen better days, this helmet will be ordered as soon as I determine 815 or 822.

Gyromaniac- How did you choose?

the 815 has a sleeker overall look to me. the 822 looked like a glorified motocross helmet to me. i wanted something that looked like the helmet they were in all the gp races

Shiny looking head cover, is that a hint for what your carb cover will match?

you would be right mouse. the finish didnt come out like i thought it would be it still looks pretty good. we were going to make it out of aluminum diamond plate but decided to go with steel instead. chrome paint is alot cheaper than actual chrome. the next step with be sand blasting the rims and painted those powder coat white to get that matte finish and to repaint most of the plastics.
