Looking at a set of 16X42 gears 9.19:1 ratio
will this keep the front tire on the ground?

That is the set commonly referred to as 9:1 on the forum.

Update on the progress so far. Installed a new 65cc BBK, Trail Tek CHT gauge, reinstalled #88 jet and a Blue LED light bar under front wheel well for added visibility. Seems to be running well. Front wheel stays on the ground but I'm taking it slow till it breaks in...also I reinstalled the oil pump so I know she's getting enough oil at 25mph she's peaking at 301 deg F. What is considered the best way to break-in a BBK?

dont no the size of the gas tank but you may want to put a shot of oil in the gas tank about 1 oz or 2 per gallon ..the oil pump is for 50 cc not 65 cc
as long you keep it under 400 deg thing are good .. as for bracking it in not sure what to say.. but keep out of the wot till you have gone at lest 200 miles but other well say some thing difrent....

had half a tank of 32:1 premix left so I topped it off with plain gas. Tied oilpump WO. Manual states do not exceed 80% top speed for 600 miles and donot keep a steady speed.
If it gets close to 400 deg I'll shut it down, don't want another melt down in the middle of nowhere and freezing temps...lol
Also checking the plug every trip...keeping my fingers crossed.

The compression tester I don't trust...95 psi. I use and electric start. going to install a second head gasket.
