As the title says, for about the first 30yards my carb/scooter sputters then it opens up fine after that.
Any ideas? I believe T Jamz mentioned this last summer. I could'nt find the thread.
Thanks guys

Re: Carb/Scooter sputters for first 30 yards?
I got stock setup on a 95 sa50p and 96 sa50p all de-restricted, took plate off vari, drilled out exhaust, drilled out tab in stock air box, tied oil pump open and mix cap full of oil in full tank of gas, #78 main in both. Both do the same thing. They both top out at about 35-37mph. Any bolt ons I could add the get another 5 mph. I dont really want to put a bbk on. Also, I have noticed a wobble in the rear tire of the 96 sa50p. Any ideas?
Thanks T Jamz learned alot from reading your post.

Try doing the obvious and adjust the idle mixture screw for the highest RPM possible. Then adjust the idle speed screw for 1800 RPM or so the the rear wheel does not move when the scooter is on the center stand. You know, just lie the service manual tells you to.
Is everybody really to stupid to actually read the d*** thing?

Is the axle nut tight on the rear wheel?
