SF east bay Mt Diablo ride, April 1, 2012, No Foolin'

East Bay Moped Lions has setup a fantastic East Bay mountain ride for scoots, small motorcycles, mopeds, etc... I had to sell my old nb50, but thought I'd tell you guys about the ride in case anyone is interested.

Ride is on Sunday, April 1, 2012

Meet up at Diablo Shadows park, off Ygnacio Valley Rd, Walnut Creek at 11, leave by noon. There are coffee shops around, a bagel shop, Safeway, pizza all nearby the park.

Should be a really fun ride. 60 miles, should take a few hours to do.
Hope you all can come.... I'll be taking the camper out there, so in case anyone breaks down, we can pick up the scoot at the end of the ride as long as it isn't too big....

BTW, there is a $10 per bike fee to enter into Mt Diablo state park, it's well worth it for the views from the peak.

Awesome! I work at Ygnacio and Oak Grove. It'd be cool to make it out to this ride.

New meetup location.
We've had such a big response that we need to move the meet up location.
There isn't enough parking at Diablo shadows park.
New meet up point is a few blocks away at Arbolado park, on Arbolado drive. It's right off Oak Grove road, just a little further south.

Same deal, meet at 11, leave by noon.
It is a much better spot, not as residential. Got it?

We'll post someone over at Diablo shadows to inform the folks who don't get the message.
