okay guys i have my aire filter lid firmly on (tighter then stock) and i intalled a new hose clamp to the airfilter to carb connection. I also heli-coiled on the carb because they were in bad shape. So i fired her up and she turned over and idled AWESOMELY. took her for a ride i was reaching 27 mph at WOT which was faster then before, but after about a mile of WOT....................... glub glub glub and died. its was like i ran out of gas.. and she wouldnt turn over so i sprayed some mix into the air filter she started up just like before and ran good after a mile (give or take) died again WTH is wrong?

Soft seizing, do a compression check and a plug chop.

bear if its soft seizing do i need to upjet? also i measure the float and it is off... would that cause my problem... and i would fix it but plastic doesnt bent and stay so i need to get a hole no float if you think that could be the cause.

You need to upjet too much to start and move down so you stop soft seizing. Running it too rich won't hurt anything while tuning. You have a leak somewhere. Stock bore and stock box and jet should be fine. However you can compensate for your leak by up jetting. I would start at 80, then move down.
Need parts? Parting out Spree Aero and Elite!
