I just pick up the new inlet and put it back in the carb then try to start it won't start . If I spay the starter fluid it will start and 10 second it will shot off. When the old inlet was in there it start fine but gas was coming from the vent tubes. Now what?

did you change the fuel lines and add a fuel filter? If not the carb might be plugged again. or the needle isn't installed properly
taz 50mm bbk, 51g. rollers,1500 c spring
24mm arreche, #20 pilot, E2 needle clip on lower groove
arreche air filter
Naruku intake, reeds & block
v8 pipe
stock gears
trail tech temp & rpm gauges

*Dun rite * have a question I look carefuly at the inlet that was in the carb and the one That I just bought . Now the one I just bought look exactly the same as my other Honda spree 1986 . The inlet in the Honda elite look a little smaller in size compare to the one I just bought . Now I put the old one in and the moped run perfectly it just gas coming out from the vent tube. Then I put the inlet that I just bought and put it in the carb It won't start unless I spray that starter fluid in there and will die after ten second. So would that be the problem .?

The new needle is not letting gas fill the carb bowl.

quit spraying starting fluid...it is bad for two strokes.

The inlet . Because like you said it is not allowing gas into the carb bowl

are you sure you need one?

is the old one leaking be cause the needle is damaged, or is the seat messed up?

is it leaking when the engine is off?

The old one is damage . The small plastic on top of the inlet is broke . So I just bought a new one It seems it not the same . It looks like the one in my spree 86 .it won't start when I put the new one in .
