For disassembly ONLY, using on assembly will screw something up for sure.

Trafficjamz is getting split in to two sides

car audio side

and scooter repair on the other

Need to know what tools to stock in the scooter side.

A basic set of standard sockets. Several of my bikes have had standard nuts forced onto metric studs.

Marker for variator tuning.
Measuring device to spec belts and bearings. Syringe for transmission oil. 4mm wrench. Pliers or spring pullers.

All good ideas, and will compile for the 'wiki.

A box of disposable gloves used from the start makes lunch go better :D
Digital camera for is handy for what things should look like when put back together - hoses, wires etc...
Test lamp (DMM even better), soldering iron, hot air gun, heatshrink, jumper leads are favorites for electrical repairs.
A parts substitution kit of known good CDI, coil are very much timesaving to rule out parts before digging into the stator....
Guys with big presses for gear swaps are of envy.
Favorite rust buster solvent, carb cleaner, Ultrasonic cleaner.
Most expensive, but well paid back in repairs have been -- O/A torch, and arc welder. They are handy on the repair side for stuck/broken bolts as well as exhaust, basket/rack repairs and new fabrication.

If you are working on someone else's scooter the beer is real stupid.
