but not all that much. I had the Keli Variator I bought from Daywot installed on my '87 SE50 Elite and over the same course and basically the same weather conditions, my average GPS recorded top speed went from 39.4 mph to 42.5 mph or a 3.1 mph increase. A bit less than Daywot's claimed 4 - 5 mph increase but for me it's still OK. I'm 6' tall and with all of my riding gear on I weigh close to 200 lbs. so maybe that makes a difference. Most importantly, I can now venture out on one of our main roads which has a 40 mph speed limit as I no longer feel like I'm an impediment. And, if I want to go really fast, I'll hop on my '87 Honda Helix 250 which tops out at 72 mph.
