Japan parts question

Post by erlansford »

I have read where several members have "japan only" parts on their scoots. I also read something about the japanese versions not having the front blinkers sticking out so far as on my 87 Elite. Is this correct? Or did I missread it. If this is correct, is their a supplier that I can order the japan front rack and lights from? Any help, or advise will be greatly appreciated.

they arent made anymore, so youd have to find some used ones from japan. and if by chance you are lucky enough to find some, plan on spending big bucks. the japan tails alone on my 87 are worth $150+

Nice! I wasn't even thinking of the rear though. Can I see the front? Those are the ones I want to replace.
