1984 Honda Gyro Air screw settings? Also some pics...

Post by bradthreee »

What should the settings be on both the idle and air/fuel screws on the carb?

Is it the same for an 85-86?

Here are some pics of my newly aquired Gyro:

Nice!! Looks familiar!!

I think the stock airscrew on a '84 is 2 turns out.

You got the manual?

It's here: http://www.boogerballs.com/GYROs.htm

Any chance you know the size of the screw/spring? Just got an NN50 1984 Honda Gyro with only 1k miles but the old man lost the screw the last time he was doing maint.

Thank you thank you! =]

1k miles - good find!

Can't give you a size/spring. It's a tapered brass needle valve, easiest is to drop in a Honda part.
16016-197-004 SCREW SET $11.91

Part is common to Spree, 83-87 Aero50, Elite SE50 and Gyro TG50 85-86. Post a "Wanted" in the Wanted/For Sale area if you like, someone may have a used set for a little less.
