for that price you could find a elite 50 with a variator instead of that non variator elite e.
Nothing like getting stroked!

if your going to pay that kind of money a variator should be your priority believe me you will regret getting a non variated elite.

Read carefully guys, he wrote elite S, not elite E. That means variated engine. I bet the year is wrong too. It could be a '98. Honda did not sell the S in '88. I don't think red was an option either. Maybe it is a red '87 elite s.

I just looked at it last night it was dark but I think it is the 87 s and it was showroom condition but when I started offering he stuck at 700 I even called back offering 660 no deal....and thanks Baka I agree I have an01elite 50sr and a keli variator coming today from s4patrick. The one we looked at is for my gf to cruise around with me this summer....but is the 87 variated or is it just the 88 that isn't thanks for the help/feedback

'87 is variated. It may even have the 10.2:1 gears. Rare classic in mint for is easily worth the $700 IMO.

Yeah it was super peppy and did 38 according to the speedo I am still debating the cash since I just spent 900 on my 01sr and am sorta tapped out but we really want it I guess I will have to decide if that or bills are more important it is just so clean

The se50 gears would swap into the af16. The af16 gears would need a little modifying to fit the af05 case.
