what my spree said is way too much time and money and I don't think he spends nearly as much time or money on his peds ad bitter or I do on ours. As highly modifieds peds we need to up keep our peds after evry ride due to breakage and such.Modyfying stock cylinders does not take as muchwear and tear on parts as a modified ped. here goes this is what I did to the G since I got it not even a year ago cause I had it first at last year labor day.mopedman wrote:my spree you do spened all you time and money on mopeds, out of all the times i have came over your house only like 3 of them you werent out in the garage
this is the changes i have made to the G since than.
Broke the crank
got a new crank and got the case re cut for the new crank and had it installed.
changed the 28 keihin to a 29.5 keihin.
changed the ct intake to a large krs intake
changed the reeds in the krs to carbon fiber reeds
installed a boost bottle
installed a koso lightened flywheel
ported the cylinder
changed the head to a different head for better top eond anc cooling affect
changed the drive face to a lightened drove face
change center springs every ride since laborday at $20 a piece. I changed at least 6 times since than.
bent the posts on the clutch so changed the clutch with new pollini blue shoe springs
broke two Zx rear drives
soft seized the bore when a zx trans broke once.
had to hone the cylinder and replace the piston.
blew a stator
changed the stator and changed the koso lightened fly wheel to a cut stock flywheel
Last ride I lost spark thinking it's probably the cdi and hopefully no the cut flywheel acting up.
This is only one ped. I was still doing the disc brake coversion on my 87 and builing the motor on that as well as trying to still rewire the ysr.
