I'm going to have to replace my fuel petcock & carburetor on my 85 CH150. I know on eBay there are plenty of sellers for these parts and all of them are made in China. Has anyone had any experience with these parts? I would think Chinese pot metal is not the same quality as the original parts.
Any input would be really helpful.

Re: Replacing Vital Parts on eBay
I'd go for a petcock, but would try to rebuild the OEM carb if possible.
The carb you found may be fine. Yet I got a clone Elite 50 carb a while back. It did not run correctly, and some internal parts were not at all same as OEM. As a result, the carb could not be tuned to behave like an OEM carb.

chinese petcocks should be fine, just be sure to get the same type.
carbs are a hit and miss. A clone is sometimes not really a clone. Check the return policy of the ebay seller to see if you can return if it isn't the right one for your application.
