Fuel Flow Problem (in carb)
Moderator: Moderator
Douse it with WD40 and see if that helps. Mine sticks sometimes, but usually b/c it hasn't been ridden in awhile.

i had a problem with some petcocks i picked up, a few were stuck closed, and i tried the method noiseguy suggested, gasoline in a large jar, and it worked like a charm, better than wd-40 for me at least, and seemingly much safer for it, seeing as how that's what the petcock was made to run through it; gas

ifthere is a tiny piece of debris floating around in your carb bowl, that could cause the problem. when the bike idles, the debris would float around the bowl, but when you throttle up, it would get sucked into the jet, causing blockage, and not allowing gas through.
could be the problem. ive seen it happen before. if that dosnt work, ill give you another troubleshoot.
