I ended up putting the stock air box on and drilled three eighth inch holes in it.
If I cover one hole with the finger it will four stroke during the midrange my idle is set a lil high and the mixture screw is set in between one and one and a half out. it seems to be running ok I really wish I had a temp gauge though

well i have not blown it up yet! I was kinda hopeing to hear some more feedback on my carburator setup i put a piece of tape over one of the three holes. I guess it works fine i dont think it is running hot or has gotten hot. but i have put about a hundred easy miles on the bore. but i need to do something with my current sutup.

1 - 1 1/2 turns on mixture screw is pretty close. The air box shouldn't have any holes in it for it to run good though which could be another problem.

i would not run without the holes.. i put my stock motor back in
