Elite SB50p

Post by UPelite »

Hey I'm new to this site and would like to say hello to everyone on here. But I have a 1989 Honda Elite e SB50p and I've been looking around on other sites to find performance parts for it like exhaust, carb, etc, but it seems like they don't have to much to offer. Does anyone know where I can find a good site or is my model just pretty much solid where its at?

Thanks

Hey yooper, I also am new to the site as you can see by my post number two, I just purchased a 1987 elite with only 77 pounds of compression. This thing barely runs so I have researched performance parts myself and have found on fleabay a 65cc BBK by Airsal come with 65cc or 47MM piston, rings, wrist pin,cir clips, gaskets, clutch plate and rollers. The guy is in Hawaii, his name is Patrick and I have also ordered a new polini belt, Keli performance speed veriator pully and 2K clutch springs.
His fleabay store is daywot, he's claiming with these add-ons it should not be a problem at all hitting 40 to 43 mph. others please chime in on your opinion of his claims and the quality of the products.

You like I from what little leg work I have done will be limited on hop ups due to the years. Looks to me and I could be wrong(new guy)1994 and up are the best for mod options. This scoot is for my 15 yr. old son, he needs to get around the area to find odd jobs to pay for this scoot.

Best of luck

Ya I've noticed a lot of parts for Elites are in Hawaii. I bought a petcock for my elite and it came for there. You have to let me know how your elite runs after you put on your new parts.

Hope everything runs smooth

You have an "E" model, non-variated, talk to Taz on here, he has the goods for you.

On a side note, where in the UP you from? I used to hang around the Wakefield, Bessemer, ironwood area with my cousins every summer when I went up to visit.

Ya i'll get a hold of Taz for some assistance on my ped.

I'm from the Marquette county area. Negaunee to be specific. I've been to Ironwood a couple of times for hockey games.

There is nothing better then takin the moped out and riding around in the UP.

I bet. I used to love just cruising the back roads.
