that sounds slow for an 86 spree, but usually the big bore kit will give you more torque not extra top end speed, the gear ratio does that, so gear change is where the speed is gonna come from. Maybe belt swap to an AX-24 belt might help too. Something that can rob top end speed is a worn out belt. Belts wear to be to narrower than they should be then the belt rides too low in the drive pulley and robs you of mph on the top end. I gained a solid 4mph by swapping to the AX-24 1/2" wide cogged belt.

Did you get the gear set. Without the gear set fast top speed is not gonna happen.

I did not get the gear set , it could be the belt considering that it has never been replaced , but how about new
Rollers and springs. Can I even do that?

If you want to go faster top speed, gears or a new exhaust pipe. If you want more power and top end ( higher RPM) Big bore kit and pipe. All 3 should be done if you really want it to last.

We are referring to the final drive gears in the rear end that have a set gear ratio. They connect the driven pulley and the rear wheel. You should pull the cover off of the belt and measure it's width with a set of calipers, spec is in the manual, I bet its way too narrow. It may even be slipping, who knows

Your mechanic is a moron and you need to get rid of him.

Any CDI other than the stock one is a downgrade, not and upgrade and
I don't believe any 4 mph increase from a CDI change.

There is no such thing as a high performance spark plug.

Your Spree does not have a CVT and there is none available for it.

If it aint broke don't fix it. Now you have another thing to trouble shoot. The style of NGK plug used in sprees is used in just about everything and if there was anything better, all of us would be using it!!
