Good choice. Why spend three times the money to do a swap when this bolt on will meet your needs?ronscag417 wrote:Some of you might love or hate it, I just ordered the kit from red eft. Will post pics once installed.

Not long. I think he stocks those and you're both on the NE coast. He should be able to tell you the exact delivery day.ronscag417 wrote:Exactly, How long does it usually take to get what ordered from red eft?

Re: Swap or rebuild
So i recieved the kit and installed it (after 2 sets of rings) and it still wont go over 15mph, it starts to accelerate but then just stops and slowly clibs to 15.... I dont know what to do next. At least its running but 15 mph isnt doing me any good. Any suggestions?

Well something isnt right. What carb are you running? What size jets are in it? Is the air box installed?

Re: Swap or rebuild
Im running the stock carb, The jets in there are the ones that came with the kit, and ive tried the stock one as well. I ran it with and without the filter. Its still having the same problem, where it gets to 5 mph no problem but will only accelrate very very slowly after that and stop at 15. The shop i took it to was fast and kept me updated so i might just bring it back to them.Red Eft Performance wrote:Well something isnt right. What carb are you running? What size jets are in it? I also thought this but i feel there would be some difference somewhere before that time.t8kinover. wrote:break in?

Re: Swap or rebuild
So just an update, i tried cleaning and re cleaning the carb, and worked my way back. So a little out of my mind, i cut my muffler off, stock 93 never taken care of rusted through holes everywhere muffler. Running no muffler i was able to achieve a better acceleration and took it to 25 before the noise became unbearable. people were coming out of there houses it was so loud lol
