I'm waiting for Greg to get back to me about the downpipes. I'll follow up with him again.

I could just weld up the chambers and get the downpipes from the buyers. Anyone have some rusty exhausts kicking around that they can saw the downpipes from? I'll buy as many as you can get me.

i have a couple old pipes, but i'd want them converted to the new pipes, so you wouldnt need any downpipes for me, i'd supply you with the 2 pipes.

OK. I'll get a few chambers ordered and start converting them. I have a couple of extra exhausts that I may hack into as well. Should have something in a couple weeks.

how about that problem about the exhaust coming out too close to the fan shroud, would that be hard to fix, while still keeping the semi-original design for performance?

That's the reason I bought a few of these chambers. I want to get 25mm clearance to the shroud; it may take more than 1 cut to do the job. We'll see what I can come up with. I ended up clearancing mine with a mallet, which worked well.

I got a box of chambers in today. I'll settle on a price for them once I get the design sorted out. I also need to get some downtubes.

If you have downtubes already and want one built up (stanky?), PM me so that we can get things arranged. Ppl that already have exhaust tubes are going to get first dibbs; I only have one spare and haven't heard from Greg in awhile.

Hello! I am new to this site and am buying a used Spree. 8) I was wondering what rpm range the pipe is tuned for? a.k.a. will it give top, bottom or mid range power improvement?

Top end power. Just got my '85 Spree mule up and running today from storage. I'm going to swap over the clutch to a higher RPM engagement and use it with the pipe as a baseline.

I can't see doing any mods to a spree, the only competion it has is the yamaha razz which i can still get a 65cc bore kit and a less restrictive pipe and will beat the spree, remember H.P. starts with a gear ratio change, without it its just a dream!....
