'87 Aero 50 Jetting?

Post by TypeRated »

I need some help on where to start with this thing. It's got a stock AF05E. I'll be keeping the stock bore & carb, but I'll be running a modified pocket bike exhaust and a pod filter. What jet sizes would you guys recommend?

Greetings:

The wild card is the modded exhaust. Hard to predict jetting needs for a one-off pipe. If you go from stock to Pod filter, an 85 at least and maybe an 88. If the new pipe runs very high revs, and the vario is tuned to allow them, then I'd start with a 90 and downjet if it's too rich.

Excellent, I'll throw a 90 in and see where I stand. Thanks!
