the figth is over. no more i call a truce. but yea. i have all my panas off, im fiberglassing them and putting plastic bondo on the scratches. it is going to be painted gloss black with green adn crome accents. the rims are being cromed, my front shocks adn going to be plastic cromed, my kickstand is getting cromed, alot of small engine peices are, and i have my engine out on my work bench. i have been polishing it, so now its polished aluminum. every singe aluminum part on my elite is getting polished. so far i have the starter moter base polished, and the cap painted blood red, i have my oil pump polished and painted, i have my engine cae half done, i have my horn polished and painted, i have my intake polished, and i was wondering if the petcock was aluminum...

lookin sharp. needs a good cleaning while the panels are off. 2 bolts in the bottom of the seat bucket come out, and give you full access to the motor. (good info for when it comes down to go time on your engine). take some carb cleaner to the grease, or if you feel like getting down and dirty with it, i usually go for simple green and a tooth brush. (but you have to be careful of the seals). also, if you really want to turn heads, do a quick restore job on the inside panels and floorboards. you can make them look brand spankin new.
