contessa bore kit and stock carb questions on elite sa
after several mods: 9to1 gears, polini pulley, stiffer clutch springs and center spring,85 main jet and derestricted exhaust with tunning my top end is 42 to 50 depending on conditions. i've purchased polini contessa kit and 88 jet and wondering if anybody out there ran this kit with stock carb with 88 main and how did it preform and what is top speed with 9 to 1's and do i risk ceasure with stock carb. i plan on upgrading to 17.5 arreche carb in the spring does stock air box and throttle cable hook up to this carb and any idea on jetting i plan on putting this kit in a couple of weeks and dont want to burn it up

As long as you stay with the stock exhaust your ok. If you change to a aftermarket exhaust then you need to upgrade to a bigger carb

17.5mm arreche runs well with my contesta
and the stock airbox fits but you will need an aftermarket throttle cable unless you want to cut the carb cap off the stock cable
