Yeah, Devenex already posted a link to the thread so I posted to the thread and Motion Left Mopeds replied with an offer for someone to test out the muffler, but it's a performance muffler for a motor with a beefier carb (and maybe stroke, gears, etc etc....)

I'm wanting to keep my elite as close to stock and keep it street legal and looking like it came off the showroom.

There was something like 12 million Sprees and Elites made, who would guessed finding and a new old stock muffler would be so difficult.... :bs:

That pipe is not just for bbk and gears he has tested on his stock. Spree and it worked well I wouldnt give up on untill it becomes available. Pull your pipe and have a look in the pipe at the flange, you will have an idea how bad it is there. And take a flash light and look in the ex port. Totally clean the thing as has been pointed out with one of the methods. I did the drain cleaner method and worked well. Now I have a new stock pipe for a an aero 50 I think its for with the exhaust flange cut off and rewelded in the right direction and made an adapter plate to relocate the mounting holes. For a stock style pipe my replacement works perfect. I will be getting a MLM pipe when it becomes available though I want the feel of a tuned pipe. Here is the link for how I made the new pipe fit. http://www.hondaspree.net/phpBB3/viewto ... ne#p205790
It came from jiang wayne and it can be found on ebay and the jiang wayne website. I still think you should clean your pipe and wait for the new tuned pipe
