Just posted on motorscooterguide.net, Bear was in a serious crash Sept 29 and hurt pretty badly.
He's home now after several weeks of hospital time. It could have been any one of us.
I'm sure he would appreciate some shouts from you who know him....

Bear is a good friend of mine has kept me in the loop about his accident and condition. I am looking forward to seeing him on 2 wheels again. As soon as I can find the time to get wayyyyyy out where he lives I will pay him a visit. His post on the motorscooter guide http://motorscooterguide.net/Forum/view ... =14&t=2414

He sent me a PM a few days ago. Hoping you make a full recovery Bear.
Tony, I have been unavailable due to a scooter accident which almost took my life. I am doing a slow recovery. I suspect your bystarter circuit has a plugged passage.

Glad he`s still above ground! Sounds like a * of a crash. I noticed he didn`t mention what caused the single vehicle crash. Doing hand stands on the seat again?
Heal up quick, Bear. The world needs us grumpy old farts!
We can learn much from wise words, and less from wise guys.
