*You can read my original reply quoted below.
OP has supplied that for you, but fails to identify
bike in question. Wheelman responds to OP under
the assumption the question refers to one of the bikes
in the OP's signature. I chose to seek clarification
when it would have been clearly better to ignore.
I'm just fine here Wheelie, but slow to learn how
to reply when faced with Bear bait.

Greetings:

Uhh, Mike O' Motor? You OK Dawg? I think it says Kymco ZX in his sig line, unless he means the Elsie. In the former case, the stock pipe WILL prevent your 72ccs from Being All that They Can Be, but it'll still perform a good bit better than stock on the low end. It stifles the power in the higher revs, for sure.

On the Elsinore, don't change A Thing!

Once you get the V8, you will have to re-think the jetting as well as the Roller load in the vario to maximize the Super-Fine Drive Feeling.

Greetings:

Without the stock pipe holding 'er back, the engine will want to SING a much higher note. Higher RPM means the jetting has to deliver more fuel, and the variator load needs to go down a few Total grams to keep the engine on-key. Changing from 7s to 6.5s can be too much of a jump sometimes.

Greetings:

The stock pipe isn't "crap", it just doesn't perform like a V8. Sure is a good bit quieter however, and you may come to find the noise annoying. I mean, all that smoke and sound and drama to go like 55 MPH? The stock pipe is good for 50 at least with a BBK. *, 49cc Flash 3.0 went 49 with only belt mods and 9:1 gears added. Sometimes discretion is better.

The Corsa liked 30.5 grams working against a Polini 1,200 Spring. The M'Arn can't sing Soprano and I bumped up in 2 stages to my current 36 grams. I may need to go up again to 38 to fully utilize the low end of the Iron cylinder - it still feels a bit "wheezy" on top.

By all means use the Mixing Rollers to find the sweetest combo but you won't be able to run them for long as they wear out quickly. However once you know the weights to buy, seek some quality items like Polini, Daytona, Malossi etc. and enjoy them for a long time. Or until you change another component...

Use a stone to round off the sharp edge of the ramp plate to decrease flat-spotting considerably.
