That cylinder should clean up real nice. Take a brake cylinder hone to it and it will look good as new. I'd get a piston and ring kit from taz for that thing, a nice domed piston will rock. The pics are looking great nice work

Maybe at some point I'll switch to the domed piston, but I have some new rings I'm going to use on the dished piston for now.
I'm tempted to polish the outside of the case, but realistically it would be hard to maintain and the spree this engine is going into isn't the nicest. I'll just stick to my plan and focus on the internals and performance gains.
I'm going to start on the intake manifold first, bolted it up to the disassembled reed block and aligned it to the manifold. Then sprayed it with some red paint, also scraped the outline just in case the paint comes off.
