Proma Exhaust AF05

Post by Duke »

Check out this pipe that my new scooter came with! (Actually two new scooters 8) ) It was poorly adapted from a spring clamp type mount to the standard Honda flange mount but I welded on the head from an old stock exhaust and now its a beast  I mounted it to my SE50 just to hear it! Anyone interested in this pipe ? Its a bit loud for me, sounds like a dirt bike! The scooter (88 Elite SA50) also came with a Dellorto PHBG19 carb with a remote choke, in very good condition, this might be up for grabs too if there's any interest...

Looks awesome. Is that a variated af05 that its mounted to? What are you asking for it? Also wondering if you have ridden any other performance pipes for af05 and how this one compares.

Yeah its an SE50P (87 Elite 50) which has been derestricted, 88 main jet and airbox desnorkeled. Its obviously undercarbed but it does run and sound nice. Its the first aftermarket pipe I've mounted so I have nothing to compare it to... Is is louder than stock tho :surprise:
I have a few offers on it already , I wasn't expecting so much interest in it and I really haven't decided if I even want to sell it. I am working on a Mallosi build and just received my Leo Vince SP3 , I am thinking of pairing it with an Arreche 19mm since you can mount the Honda bystarter straight to it and not deal with a manual choke. It seems that performance pipes for the AF05 are getting rarer and more expensive...
