so do honda pals have dio engines? and how did they get to the us? were they shipped by honda or did people bring them over.

no they dont have dio motors, unless you do a conversion. and they have to be brought to the us.

No, no Dio motor... When I took my engine apart the first time, its cylinder-to-block gasket looked like early Euro model ones. Though the exhaust port comes straight out the cylinder, and not on an angle. From what I can tell, its might be a mix.

My Pal was imported from Japan. There's 2 scooter shops around here that I know of that get bikes imported. Though it seems they don't have much of a choice, and take what they're given. It's like the have a setup with someone where the deal is, "Send over what no one else wants cause its cheaper."
