Cold starting issues....

This just started happening yesterday morning, I go to start my scoot, and it starts first shot, then dies within 30 secinds. I continue to start it and it continues to die. This happened like 30 times yesterday morning, until I readjusted the idle and it stayed running. Now the idle is a bit on the high side, and this morning, it was a little easier, but still gave me fits. Any ideas?

I'd guess crud in the carb. Malfunctioning bystarter ("automatic choke") would be a second possibility.

yeah it might be a dirty carb.
