The belt is squeezed between the variator and the fixed drive face, it rides on its sides, not on the inside of its cogs. It goes inside the variator and butts against the fixed drive face.

that arrow pipe has been welded to a stock header pipe .Probably better than a stock pipe but not as good a a genuine arrow
