so im still unclear on all the different af engines and in what order they came in but right now i think i will start with carbs.
from what i gather there are zero aftermarket carbs for the af05e without using an aero 80 reed set, or some sort of metal plate adapter.
what brands of manifolds exist for the af05e? or the dio (af....?) ( i have an aero 80reed cage.)
on this forum i see the " ct chrome" intake manifold alot. who makes it? Ct? what does ct stand for because ct chrome gives me zero results.
is ct the only intake manifold? how can you tell if a carb is ct compatiable?
how about carbs? oko is a name i see alot. what does oko stand for? very little resuslts for oko carbs.
delloreto or something like that is another name i see alot.
the af05e has a sticky for bbk's and a sticky for after market exhausts. can we get a sticky for aftermarket carbs?
where can you buy these anyways?
do they even sell the ct chrome without the bulky reeds and adapter?
someone break it down for me
can someone break down aftermakret carbs?

The ct intake comes with and without the reed block.

https://www.treatland.tv/OKO-26mm-reed- ... -block.htm
They bolt right up to an aero 80 block and sooooooo many others. As long as the intake bolts up the the block you can use it. This intake will fit up a delorto carb. https://www.treatland.tv/doppler-19mm-P ... ke-dio.htm delortos are big in the moped world, I have a 19mm delorto on my express nice carb. I have a oko and ct intake for my spree can't wait to install it.

Malossi has a 19mm dellorto kit. Then add the Malossi reed block.
They have two different kits.
One for the vision met in
http://www.malossistore.us/en/products/ ... .AL&Type=M
and one for the vision
http://www.malossistore.us/en/products/ ... .AL&Type=M
I assume these work on the af05
I havent stocked any yet but I can get them.

Arreche makes carbs that bolt right on to the stock manifold on variated AF05s, even fits Honda bystarter and airbox! Check them out at Provoscooter.com...

Re: can someone break down aftermakret carbs?
The easiest is to swap the stock 14mm Keihin for the 18mm Keihin. Everything fits, right out of the box, except that you need to drill the stub for the oil pump feed into the throttle slide. It's easy to do with a handheld 1/8" drill, finish off with a .18mm modeler's drill bit. the 18mm bore is much bigger than the stock manifold bore, so you should hog out the manifold with a Dremel to match. Even the bakelight spacer (between the carb & manifold) can be Dremeled oversize without disturbing the o-ring seals. Don't forget to upjet so you don't smoke your unit on your first ride!
