greetings from oz

Post by Wato »

G'day all,
Enjoy your site very much, lots of great info. Ive had what we call down under a nifty 50 sitting under my back deck since 1997. Decided two months ago to restore it. My father and i used to ride it around the local produce market where he had a business. so i pulled it out, threw some fresh oil and petrol in it cleaned the spark plug, hooked up a battery and away she started. Gotta love those honda motors. She used to be lime green but i thought i'd freshen her up. stripped the whole thing down except the motor, polished everything then repainted all the plastic and the seat. Tried to upload a couple of pics but its saying the file is too large

Yes - I remember seeing the signals up there too.

This is a pic tru72 posted showing the turn signals mounted next to the h/l assembly.

Yes looks like the only difference between the two. probably some local design rule. Here's a photo of the instrument panel. Apart from that and the round headlight bezel pretty much the same as the U.S version

Greetings:

A gem. A real Time Capsule. Way too clean. Honda-san himself wished they looked that good new.
