You will need (or at least my parts list):
1) Honda Spree (duh)
2) Honda Elite SE50P throttle cable
3) Honda Elite SE50P brake cable (the original brake cable on my Spree doesn't reach)
4) Honda Elite SE50P Engine with matching carburetor (I had to buy and fabricate a starter motor for mine, as they harvested certain parts from my engine. Lucky for me, this engine also has a kick start! EBay and this forum can be your best friends for these items, as well as I went through partzilla.com to order my other odd and end bolts and nuts)
5) Honda Elite SE50P exhaust
6) Honda Elite SE50P engine mount (eBay find)
7) Honda Elite SE50P Rear rim (tire from Spree is the same size, the drum itself is a different diameter)
9) 8,9,10,12,14,22mm wrenches and sockets at best (I bought a cheap-o tool set from Walmart for $20ish)
10) 10-140mm bolt (I used a 10-120mm and was fine Just make sure to space with washers), but and I grabbed fourteen (14) 10mm washers for the new shock mount (play it safe and save myself a trip back to the store)
11) A 25/64 drill bit (the conversion comes out to 9.9mm Wiggle it around a bit and youre good to go!)
12) Hack Saw (Could go Dremel, but again, this is the poor college student budget)
13) Wire cutters
14) Needle nose pliers
15) Phillips and flat screwdriver (again, that Walmart tool kit saved me a ton here)
16) Crescent wrench (used it to bend the support guards out when my saw couldnÔÇÖt make it into the frame further)
17) New hosing for vacuum pump (that old red tubing from 1984 wasnÔÇÖt cutting it anymore)
I will attempt to resize my iPhone photos so you all can see my Spree.
As for a kickstand, I am still having mine do the ÔÇÿwall leanÔÇÖÔǪ Only because he is that cool for school. But really, if anyone has suggestions for how to CHEAPLY add a kickstand, I would forever be grateful!
Keep on SpreeÔÇÖing on, as this fourm has been a major help to me! Hence why I have taken the time between summer school classes to write this up for anyone looking to dive right in to an engine swap as I did. I owned the Spree two weeks before I swapped out the engine. I am still waiting for my final shipment of parts to come in, and will post back when I get her up and running!
