Aftermarket spree rear shock

Post by ringLord4 »

Anybody know if this fits the spree?

Also, looking to see if anybody has seen results from trying some Yamaha jog clutch springs on the spree. I'm looking for better take off. I'd like to find some springs. How many RPM's too??

Thanks

I'm assuming you already know its longer and thats why you want it.

It should fit as the listed dimensions match up (10mm mounting up top w/ 8mm bolt at bottom). You might need to buy a different bolt at a hardware store for the bottom as I don't know the stock threading, but that should be the worse case scenario.

I didn't know it was longer. Haven't measured it. Is that a plus? I just don't like the stock shock. It's bouncy

Go for a used ruckus shock then, its a only a touch longer and you can scoop one up for a lot less.

Is longer better. Will it sustain weight better?
