It's somewhere in the intake side. ensure all connections are tight and carb is clean.

Looks like the threads on one side of the carb are stripped :( I tried to fix it by putting a smaller bolt through the hole and attaching a nut on the other side but still same problem. Im wondering if maybe the bystarter is the problem? Im also thinking of putting a primer on the carb so it starts cold without pouring gas in the carb.

Hard cold starts, suspect bystarter, wires, tiny pilot hole or carb bowl draining while sitting. No top end could be float running dry for lack of fuel flow. Among other things of course. If try a check of the plug after a lengthy full throttle run and see what is going on in the top end. Could be just a loose spark plug wire.

If you have it fixed already, then dont do any of these:)
