83 Aero af05e, 89 elite af16, 09 ruckus170cc gy build thread

Hi, new to the forum, I bought the aero for my wife last year but motor only lasted one day haha so ended up buying a cheap 89 elite e to swap the motor, long story short, I fell in love with that little bike.
Yesterday I got my hands on a recently rebuilt 99 elite engine for 200 bux with all the acc.
I already swapped the motor to the aero, stretch it while I was at it, and lowered the front forks.
Here are some pics. Btw, I dont. Know what they did to the af05 before I bought it because it tops out at 37

I really like the Aero, the stance looks great. Did you cut and weld the forks to lower it? Looks to have full travel.

Do you have any pics from the back end? Wish I had a AF16, well, and an Aero.

Yup cut and weld. Springs went in unmodified but its kinda stiff, so I am cutting them a bit. Ill post more pics in a bit

Update: installed ruckus controllers and put most of the bike together. I just need the petcock (on the mail) and paint the real wheel and trans cover

man those bikes are sick...ive seen your ruck and the elite in person...but the aero is the one I haven't and I am dying to see it...it just looks so sweet in pictures.

You need to buy that 250 dollar elite for sale on cl. its a perfect match for your other elite.
