89 elite E motor

just got a elite E from a shop i was actually trying to buy a frame but he just offered a elite wit motor and everything only couple things missing, the motor doesnt run rite now can someone help me out on troubleshooting it and see whats wrong it probably wasnt started for months to a year... just need something to ride b4 i do a dio swap

well you gotta start somewhere, clean the carb? new plug... post pix or something so we know what your working with, if you need any parts for that bike ive got some...

Yup,clean the carb,replace the plug and cap ,drain old gas out.clean out the oil bottle/line
Put new gas and oil and fire away.

k thanx i actually got um running but then messed it up but imma picc a dio up anywayz
