Thanks for all your answers. So i can add any 10w30 oil motor, right? The 10w30 oil motor for car would work too or it has to be for motorcycle? I checked and i have absolutly no oil in the gear since a long time... so i want to put some as soon as possible i'll buy a better quality one later when i'll have more time.

Yes any 10w30 will do.

Isnt oil, oil as long as it has the certification on it? Its not like its under pressure. I put a little lucus oil additive in my gears it keeps the oil around the gears and quiets them down a lot.

Bike : NB50M, Vision/Aero, MY 1986, Engine AF05E.

I have just flushed (3600 kilometers on the clock) my transmission oil.
Put 0,09 liters of 10w40 semi-synthetic engine oil.

The oil came out dark grey. :confused:

Pulled the side bolt and it emptied.
Then I inclined the scoot on the left side and lifted the front to get the most oil out as they didn't put a drain plug underneath (poor engineering there...).
Filled it by laying it on the right side (thanks for the daughters helping hand, you didn't think I actually layed it on the body plastics???!!! :crazy: :smile: ) and poured the specified amount of oil in.
No gasket/washer on the bolt? :*: Strange... :imo: Put it back on like it was.

What should be the intervall for oil transmission changes? Nothing is specified in the manual.
I can't imagine/beleive, seeing the oil that came out, that they wouldn't recommend flushing it...now how does it look after thousands of kilometers??? :nervous:

I hate to tell you this synthetic oil is to thin you wont standard 20/50oil not semi synthetic or full synthetic

Well, I'll drain it again. It'll have the advantage of cleaning the gears casing...

What about the interval???

EDIT : or else, I put 75/90 transmission gear oil in? :idea:

20/50 motor oil. you could put a little engine flush in there b4 you drain it to help clean gunk out .

If you fill when the scoot is level you can never put the indicated 0,09L inside the casing. You have to lean it to its side.

I use 10w30. I had used 80w90 one time, it worked fine also. Astroglide would probably have the least resistance.

I was far from the 90 milliliters in there with the scoot standing.
So considering that Honda must have had a good reason to engrave the quantity on the casing, I leaned it on its side to be able to top it off.
My Piaggio Ciao was the same : had to put the wheel flat on the side to fill the gears casing.
For the breather, no problem, it is as it should be on mine. But worth being carefull with this detail : you don't want water in there!

Ok, I'll do it all again.
Surprised if anything was left inside as I lifted the front end and leaned it altogether on the left side.
Why didn't they just put a drain plug in the first place...
