It's probably not a serviceable part, meant to be replaced as 1 piece. But may interchange with other Honda scooters if you're lucky. Would need pics of part to verify, and perhaps measurements.

Gyros are their own thing. There were few built and fewer still in service. So finding parts on other bike that can interchange is important if you're trying to keep costs down. If not, just order a new one from Honda.

Not to beat a dead horse, but i'd like to respond to this.

Yes you are coming off wrong.
---- I figured i was going to ruffle some feathers, but like i said, this was the 3rd time i'd gotten a response that didn't deal with the problem, only asked about other stated facts.

You say that you removed it from the front wheel.

Im asking if it is functional the cable and the speedo.
----Don't know. This isn't the issue at this point. Gotta start at the beginning, and the signal to drive the cable starts at the wheel. And that's where i can see there is a problem. Why would i go to the cart, if the horse isn't there to pull it?

A drive gear could be inside the speedo to a noob.
----I might be a noob to this forum, but i've been wrenching on all sorts of machinery for 30 years, don't assume.

Noobs ask dumb questions sometimes and overlook the obvious so, I was asking a legitamate question.
----I disagree, this was not a legitimate question, it didn't address my question. I believe you were the one that overlooked the obvious. Cant put the cart before the horse.

 :b2t:
No hard feelings i hope, and lets get back to happy scooter'ing. :thumbwink:
