Does Michigan require a title?
Hi ├óÔé¼╦£ya folks,
I├óÔé¼Ôäóm brand new to the forum and I have a question already. Anyway I bought a running ├óÔé¼Ôäó85 Spree at a garage sale last week. I gave $40.00 for the bike ├óÔé¼┬ª I put jumper cables to the battery and the bike started right up! The bike has some minor issues however I thought I would ask if Michigan requires a title to register the bike. All I have is a bill of sale and I doubt it was from the last registered owner.
No sense in making the bike road worthy if it cant be registered.
Any advice?
Thanks
jim

i didnt have a title, i got a bill of sale and took that down there, showed them my license and the bill of sale and gave em 15 bucks and they gave me a sticker and registration. around here i couldnt really get in trouble for not having it, so i had it as a formality

Awesome!....
I wonder if they would take a bill of sale written on a katsup/mustered staind napkin.
Seriously, thanks dudes for the quick advice! I'm sure I'll have a few more questions.
I did check the tech page and found a bunch of usefull info. I'm more of a four stroke honda guy.. I just couldent pass up on this Spree deal.
