tg 50 starter

Hello,
I just recently bought a 85 gyro s. Started going through it and fixing it up. Rebuilt carb, new piston rings, new plug, etc. Then after all of that, my starter seemed to burn up. Battery is fully charged, but nothing, just the click. Fuze is good. If my starter is dead, are there starters off of other honda scooters that I could use? I know they don't make them anymore for the gyro, and ebay prices are craaaaazy!

Have all external electrical issues been ruled out?
A) Some times the starter relay clicks, yet the contacts are bad.
B) You could pull the starter and bench tested it

... ebay prices are craaaaazy!
